In our battery box, which is fairly easy to get to (but being a sailboat, you need to get them from the dock to the cockpit and then down the ladder to the interior - each battery being 130lbs) these batteries JUST fit across inside the box and the terminals are in the rear, with the highly inflexible 4/0 battery cable needing to curve to a 3 inch radius or less to connect to the adjoining battery, and the radius actually having to be tucked under a lip at the rear of the battery box - all the while arcing with 700+ amps @ 12v on the last connection. Yeah. Batteries rock.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16093205335972800543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7834826019588534175.post-59539047256530497422017-12-07T14:43:48.756-05:002017-12-07T14:43:48.756-05:00What's happened to Mr. Bishop??What's happened to Mr. Bishop??Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02126505128766213578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7834826019588534175.post-28087162970211775882017-09-05T09:05:55.605-04:002017-09-05T09:05:55.605-04:00You probably do this, but it would be good to note...You probably do this, but it would be good to note that washing the blanket afterwards is probably a good idea - sulfuric acid is nasty stuffe!<br />Hartley S/V AtsaS/V Atsahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11281701092354991373noreply@blogger.com
