I connected the white and brown wires and it initially did not work. I read somewhere else that there is a ground connection in the connector where for Garmins connecting to Airmar transducers... So I connected the brown, white from the sounder end together and connected these to the ground. Then I connected blue to blue and black to black ( I believe this is power). The transducer is back to working! Thanks for your post, saved me getting a new set up. My (2) 188...Success with the transducer disconnect! My (2) 188cs are working again-I don't need temp. as I only fish for salmon and cod. It is much more important to know where the bottom is when at the helm of a 33 ton vessel. Thanks for the tip.
